Venturing Leader Youth Protection Training As a Venturing Advisor, you are an important figure in the lives of your crew members. They are likely to turn to you for advice and guidance, or to tell you about problems they face in their lives. NOTE: This course is provided as in informational exercise. Completion is not recorded electronically. BSA Online Learning Center The on-line version of the Cub Scout Fast Start, BoyScout Fast Start, Troop Committee Challenge and more that is also available to all Scouters in the VHS Tape. Safe Swim Defense Training The on-line version. Before a BSA group may engage in swimming activities of any kind, a minimum of one adult leader must complete Safe Swim Defense training, have a commitment card (No. 34243) with them, and agree to use the eight defenses in this plan. Philmont Training Center Serving as the only national volunteer training center for the Boy Scouts of America since 1950, the Philmont Training Center (PTC) provides a unique environment for the training of volunteer and professional leaders. Twin Arrow - NYLTC The course models a month in the life of a troop – three meetings (one each day for the first three days) all leading up to a big outdoor experience (an overnight outpost camp). The course uses the patrol method and presents model Patrol Leader Council meetings.. Venturing Advisor Fast Start The on-line version is the first step for any volunteer new to Venturing.
